I have worked as a chef for 8 years and so have spent a lot of time with knives. When I opened the box and saw this knife I was skeptical and worried that it was all show and just looked the part.

How wrong I was!

I took it to the Brecon Beacon with a member of a Tier 2 regiment in the British army and he is also very particular about his knives.

He had the same worries as I did.

So we put it to work. After using it for butchery on large game, log splitting (chisel action), slicing on cast iron, as we didn’t bring a chopping board, fish prep and even digging small holes, this knife was as good as new! My friend was truly impressed. Don’t be fooled by its flashy looks. Of course it does not have a serrated edge but closes through bone no problem. Its edge stayed sharp after everything we threw at it and only dulled in the very slightest but once run over a ceramic it was honestly as good as new.

I was intrigued to see how it would handle serious, challenges, difficulties and even tasks slightly out of its particular design. My friend and I were both DEEPLY impressed.

Its weight could put one off at first but actually works in its advantage.
The only con I can think of, and I had to try hard to find it, would be that when using it for butchery, American Tanto is not for everybody, which is understandable but for my it was a pleasure. I love it and as a single carry, compact camping knife it could not have impressed us both any more.

It is SO SO tough, it can take a SERIOUS hammering and does takes ALOT to dull the blade, which then can be sharpened easily with ceramic.

It’s a really beautiful little knife, and the blade design is very cool, looking like both a knife and an axe. I can’t help but take it with me to try it out outdoors.

This is the most beautiful survival knife I have ever seen. The blade design is very unique and very sharp. However, it may be suitable for cutting, not for heavy work such as chopping bones. I look forward to seeing its performance on the next camping trip.

This is a great pair of scissors that makes prep work in the kitchen incredibly easy. It even has a lot of features that I'm still discovering.

These scissors are so easy to use on chicken and are so sharp that you don’t even need to use a lot of force.

Just what I was hoping for. They did not disappoint.

I have a few Kasumi knives now. They are rock-solid and well made. I ordered a grey one, but got an email within a day saying it was not in stock. So, I chose a green one and it arrived no problem. I might still buy a grey one. These knifes are not the most sophisticated ones I own, but they are dependable and that’s all you can ask of a knife at the end of the day.

Great knife for the money, feels good in the hand, well balanced, very beefy solid blade, would like to see a sharper edge from factory, but it will suffice

Received this knife as an addition to one on my hunting backpacks... very pleased with the item! Good quality nice length and it's capable of most anything you could ask of it. It's a good piece of kit as are the TITAN III and Assault which I've also field tested. Would highly recommend any three that I've bought so far.....

The packaging was not damaged and the dragon scale knife is very sharp. Good value for money

Cheap and easy to use, I didn’t expect the kitchen knife to be so sharp, KASUMI did not disappoint me!
